The overall concept for this collection is minimalism; through my own interpretation this can be seen in the strong linear elements and structure. It is a celebration of simplicity and clean design. I wanted this simplicity to shine through and mask the complexity that occurred in the construction stage. Heavily influenced by the draping process this collection is dart-less and achieves an overall boxy silhouette. Strong shoulder lines and attention to detail are key factors of this collection. A limited colour palette enables the simplicity of the design to come forward and be showcased. Layering is achieved through multiple garments that can readily be mixed and matched to create new and exciting looks.
